Decatur Memorial Hospital Women’s Breast Health Education Benefits from Golf Tournament Proceeds
December 17, 2009, Decatur, Ill… A check for $23,000 was presented to Decatur Memorial Foundation today from the Sandy McKenzie Memorial Golf Tournament Committee with funds raised during the Ninth Annual Sandy McKenzie Golf Tournament. These funds will be used for the Mammography Initiative (no-cost screening mammograms to women who meet the financial guidelines), the HER (Helping Each other Recover) breast cancer support group, and breast cancer research in Decatur and Macon County. Decatur, Ill., Nov. 23, 2009 – Today, Walmart (NYSE: WMT) and Decatur Memorial Hospital announced Decatur’s newest offering of health care services – “The Clinic at Walmart” operated by Decatur Memorial Hospital.
This convenient care clinic will open Dec. 21 in Walmart located at 4224 N. Prospect in Decatur. The clinic will provide fast, affordable access to basic health care services such as check-ups, immunizations, screenings and minor injuries.
